$15 for a mp3 download seems a bit steep to me. If it were lossless, I think it
is was justifiable. If it were $10 I'd think it was more reasonable.

Yeah, I'd thought about that, too. I can't see if it comes with a
digital booklet or not. I just like that it's GDBD, which I still so
adore.

It is more than most albums, however, it does have more tracks than most albums, is live, is from the original lineup. And has 1 maybe 2 songs with royalties due. I don't th

Premature send!

I don't think it's unreasonable, but it is steep, so not everyone will buy it. They probably thought of that too.

Y'all are talking like this just came out and is an independent product or something. The original price was $100 during the fundraiser for The Long Surrender. You got admission to the concert at that church Ric uses for a studio or whatever, you got an original, numbered, signed poster, and this. They just sent you the digitals whenever they got it mixed. I forget when it came to me, something like November I think? December? Like six months after the concert, I forget.

Now, they're simply making it available to everyone even if you didn't donate. $15 sounds just fine for that. I was happy to part with $100 for the cause, but $15 doesn't sound steep at all.

Anyway, I was very pleased, because it's the first time I'd ever gotten to hear "Happy to be so" live. And the REM cover worked out pretty well too! And Kylie got my drunk ass back to the hotel after afterdrinks. A good time was had by all.
